In contrast is GGG which is an indie developer using their own custom built engine. Most of the "other games" you're likely to compare to are developed by AAA studios with a LOT of money and resources, using well-established game engines that are also developed by other AAA studios and licensed for lots of money.

Right after posting this i got the following errors on a game crash. I hope to have this resolved by the time beta goes live. I've also included my current display settings which I've tried messing around with but still get the same end result. I want to be able to play HC without this causing my RIP. I just want the game to run smooth and could care less how it visually looks at this point.

I've tried to do some reading to troubleshoot myself but i haven't ran across anything that will help. Sometimes it leads to the screen going black and then crashing.

However, it seems to really struggle with the lightning particle effects, which are causing huge fps drops and lag. So I'm no computer genius but I know my specs should be able to handle this game at any settings.
